Do I need a Health Coach?
If you want someone to guide you through the healthy eating for healthy body and weight loss purposes, I highly recommend enlisting the services of a Good Health Coach.
Who is a Good Health Coach?
If you love in the Raleigh, North Carolina area, I have the name of the perfect Health Coach for you – see below. If you live outside of Raleigh, North Carolina, I have the same readily available recommendation for you , she can work miracles locally and via long distance! See below.
Have you decided your ready for a Health Coach?
If so, I have the perfect Health Coach for you and her name is Kris Jackson of N8Kinetix. She came into my life, thanks to my sister and brother-in-law, exactly when I needed her the most. I have tons of accolades for Kris and will be back to tell you more but for now, if you don’t feel well, keep gaining weight no matter how little you eat or don’t lose weight no matter how much you exercise, Kris Jackson is the answer to your needs. Ironically, Kris and I live less than 3 miles from each other but we’ve been between only phone calls, text messages and her Healthie App, she has coached me into losing over 49 pounds in less than 17 weeks! In other words, in less than 3 months I have lost over 49 pounds and what’s even more important is that she has given me the hope and optimism that despite all of the health issues I have had, I’m going to start living a more normal life and will start getting back to life and back to the activities I haven’t done in years. If you’re serious about weight loss, forget about being “The Biggest Loser” and become “The Biggest Winner” thanks to Kris Jackson.
Contact Kris via her website at www.N8Kinetix.com and tell her that MaggieTheGeek aka Margaret sent you!
Working With a Health Coach Has Changed My Life!
As my increasing weight-loss is becoming more and more noticeable, I’ve had lots of people ask me what’s my Health Coach’s secret formula. To be fair to my Health Coach, that’s her secret formula and I don’t feel comfortable giving out Kris’s proprietary info. What I can say is that Kris is not reinventing the wheel when it comes to diet plans but instead she gives you a customized diet plan and basically has set the goal of realigning your body’s health to the point where it starts healing itself and that includes losing weight if that’s what you need to do.
What I love about Kris is that she doesn’t see everyone as a one size fits all program or isn’t a one diet works for all kind of health coach. Instead she reviews your written responses to her specific health questions and evaluates your needs based upon written history and verbal communication. She asses what has worked for you in the past and why it has worked but more importantly, she assesses what hasn’t worked for you and helps you understand why it hasn’t worked.
I’ve worked with doctors and other health coaches before and have even had some temporary successes but not one of them gave me a regimen that I would want to follow for my lifetime. They were always short term fixes that ultimately caused the Yo-yo syndrome of dieting. I would have initial weight loss and in some cases significant weight loss, but over time, their plans were not sustainable for long term so the weight I lost would return, and in every case, I would end up not just gaining back what I lost but now I was heavier than my original starting weight. That’s the Yo-yo dieting effect, you lose but just like the Yo-yo that goes down its string, it comes back up just as quickly and can sometimes ricochet and cause even more damage.
I also have to give Kris the credit for having the patience with me as I came over from the dark side of foods to the light side of “Clean Eating” and wow, I can really feel the difference, now. I’m not perfect, yet, with my food and intake changes but I’ve grown and learned so much since Kris came into my life. To top it off, there is no food program or food substitutes to buy or high protein shakes and other processed foods. Kris has based her program on the body healing itself by eating whole and healthy non-processed foods and it works.
Despite all of the health issues that I have had to deal with for the last 30 years, I haven’t been nearly as educated about “Good Health” practices as I should have been. My last formal training about good health practices was in my 5th grade Health class and we never covered any of the important issues then that I need to know and thoroughly understand, now. Sure I’ve had a few lectures here and there and unsustainable guidelines and check in points but really have not had the educational interaction that I have needed and that Kris is giving me, now. We discuss all foods and activities and not only weight measurements but how I’m feeling in reaction to my previous food consumption and activities. Basically, working with Kris is like taking an online and interactive college course in healthy living with a very dedicated professor. No doubt, I am way more educated today than I have ever been and there’s still so much more for me to learn. It’s amazing what things I have learned that I never knew that I needed to know and what I should have known that will now forever be ingrained in my brain and health practices!
As I said previously, Kris is not reinventing the wheel when it comes to various food consumption traits and diets. If you don’t want to hire her to be your Health Coach, that’s fine, there is plenty of free info out there to help you. Just “Google” the info yourself and create your own program. Be careful, though; make sure you are using legitimate websites and accurate health info and whole food and healthy recipes.
You can start by looking up the following and then pulling the best info from each and start creating the lifestyle program that’s best for you:
- Clean Eating
- Low Carb
- Atkins
- South Beach
- Keto
- Paleo
- Intermittent Fasting
- Whole 30 Program
- Organic Vs Non-organic
- Grass-fed vs Corn-fed meats
- Wild caught Seafood vs Farm Raised
- Meal Timing
- Exercise
- AirFrying
Personally, I’ve always been a one-stop shopping kind of person and having Kris as my Health Coach means she’s my own personal resource for my own personal and pertinent issues. What I truly appreciate is getting my guidance from Kris on what I should and should not eat and do. After her words of wisdom, I often go and do some of my own research, including finding ideas and recipes to help me create delicious healthy meals. During our interactions, Kris and I go over what works for me and what doesn’t. She evaluates my food intake, my water consumption and why and when my weight jumps up and down on the scales.
Basically, Kris is a teacher, a coach, a cook, a resource librarian and a cheerleader and the perfect guide for me. In my opinion Kris is worth her weight in gold and I’m thrilled to have her as MY Health Coach and life changing resource and she’s earned every penny she’s gotten!
